To some, Christmas is a season of busy-ness, a time of loneliness, faced with a sense of dread. For others, it is a time of gifts, family, friends, and parties. For many of us, we also celebrate the birth of Jesus.

To me, it is definitely a time to celebrate the birth of our Savior … but it is also so much more. The birth of Christ ushered in the opportunity to know Jesus Christ intimately, to understand His sufferings and sacrifice that come from His deep love for us. I wrote One Glorious Holy Night in consideration of the birth, life, death, and resurrection, the Supremacy of Christ – my hope is that it both glorifies Jesus and inspires you to a deeper intimacy with God.
