3x5 FT Officially Licensed UNITED STATES COAST GUARD Flag with Brass Grommets.
The Flag of the United States Coast Guard consists of a dark blue representation of the Great Seal of the United States on a pure white background. A blue bald eagle holds a scroll in its beak, and a branch and arrows with its talons. The shield on the eagle’s breast has a blue chief over vertical red and white stripes. Above the eagle are 13 stars contained in a circle. Inscribed in an arc above the circle is the text 'UNITED STATES COAST GUARD'; below the eagle is the Coast Guard motto, 'SEMPER PARATUS' (Always Ready). Beneath the motto is '1790', the year in which the Coast Guard's predecessor, the Revenue Marine/US Revenue Cutter Service, was founded. The current version US Coast Guard Flag was adopted in 1964.
